POLYNÉSIE FRANÇAISE - 1956 and 1964

 

POLYNÉSIE FRANÇAISE (French Polynesia, (then classified as a French Colony/Territory) featuring a 3f stamp with a traditional woman/dancer and two 5f RF Postes stamps depicted a spearfishing native (Pêcheur au harpon). 

The stamp on the left was issued in 1964, whereas the two  on the right were first printed in 1956. The circular postmark stamped directly over the left-hand side of the postcard has a cancellation date of 27 September 1967.

The postcard shows a beautiful sunset (Magnifique coucher du soleil) in Tiva, Tahaa, French Polynesia.
