POŠTA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ issued in 1920–1922 definitive postage stamps depicting traditional and symbolic imagery like the "Dove and Letter" / chainbreaker and allegorical/national crests). It was cancelled in Karlsbad (now Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic), on 29 May 1921.
Brunner V. H. designed the stylised carrier pigeon. 'LAR BRENDA,' Benda J. designed the Chainbreaker, symbolising the country, shows a woman breaking free from the chain of bondage.
The postcard shows Café Kaiserpark (later known as Cafésalon Pupp or Bar Arizona) situated in the Kaiserpark area of Karlovy Vary (historically Karlsbad), Czech Republic. The open-air cafe and salon operated under various names through the first half of the 20th century before changing uses around 1946.
