POLYNÉSIE FRANÇAISE (FRENCH POLYNESIA) on 12 December 1984 issued a set of for First Day Cover stamps showing the day-to-day life in Polynesia, including the artwork entitled "Tahitiennes sur la Plage" (Tahitian Women on the Beach) by Pierre Heyman. The postmark cancellation on the maximum card and stamps originated from Papeete, Tahiti.
