POSTES RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE - SAINT-PIERRE AND MIQUELON, a French overseas collectivity near Newfoundland, issued in 1947 stamps depicting the rocky cliff landscape of Soldier's Bay on the island of Langlade. The set included denominations of 10, 30, 40, and 50 centimes. They were designed by J. Lhuer and J. Jacquin.
