POS MALAYSIA issued in 2003 a set of stamps to mark "Sambutan 50 Tahun Hari Kanak-Kanak Sedunia" (the 50th Anniversary of World Children's Day), which was first organized in 1953 and later recognized by UNICEF and the UN in 1954.
Stamps shown:
(Top): This 20 sen stamp featured children from diverse backgrounds holding hands in a circle around a world map, symbolizing global unity and friendship.
(Below): A collection of four 30 sen stamps depicting illustrations of children playing, school life and family, entitled "Keluarga Saya" (My Family) and "Negaraku" (My Country).
