Deutsche Bundes Post 100th Anniversary of German Cinema

DEUTSCHE BUNDESPOST on 6 September 1995 issued three First Day Cover stamps dedicated to the 100th anniversary of German cinema. Shown here is a souvenir sheet and maxim card with "Metropolis" stamp affixed to it. Postmark cancellation originated from Berlin.

Stamps featured:
- 80 - "Metropolis" (1925/27) by Fritz Lang
- 100 - "Der Untertan" (1951) by Wolfgang Staudte
- 200 - "Der Himmel Uber Berlin" (1987) by Wim Wenders
