Viet Nam Cong-Hoa International Food and Agricultural Conference for Asia and the Far East (FAO)

VIET NAM CONG-HOA (SOUTH VIETNAM) on 21 November 1960 issued a First Day Cover stamp marking the International Food and Agricultural Conference for Asia and the Far East (FAO). Postmark cancellation originated from Saigon  CHOLON.

The cachet features an illustration of a Vietnamese woman holding stalks of rice and a Vietnam rice paddy in the background. There were various cachets on this theme, but I find this one to be the most attractive.
