EGYPT
issued on 1st January from 1888 to 1906 a series of definitive stamps
depicting the Sphinx in front of Cheops pyramid. It was designed and
printed by De la Rue of London, using the typography print method. The
cancellation postmark on these stamps appears to be on 13 December
1908. The postcard itself shows men and women trading with a fruit seller on a street in Cairo.
