NIPPON POST on 20 May 1959 issued a commemorative stamp entitled
``8 Views of the Ukiyo Genji'' by artist Hosokawa Hideyuki. This 10 yen
stamp of ``Genrakugan'' was extracted from the ``Ukiyo Genji Eight
Views'' drawn by this ukiyo-e artist who went also went by the name
Chobunsai Hideyuki, who was active in the late Edo period. The stamps
depicts two women writing poetry. He had a unique style called ``Twelve
Heads'' and left behind many paintings of beautiful women that depict
their supple bodies.
