Nippon Post "Bugi Rinsen" (Dancer in a Garden) - 1968

NIPPON POST on 20 April 1968 issued a fifteen-yen postage stamp of a painting by Bakusen Tsuchida entitled  "Bugi Rinsen" (Dancer in a Garden). This picture, produced in 1924, portrays a maiko (young traditional dancer) with the Tenjuan Garden of the Nanzenji Temple. Kyoto, for its background.  Five-color photogravure printing process was used to print 30,000,000 pieces. Size of impression was 31mm×48mm White paper without watermark was used.
