Magyar Posta Arabian Nights

MAGYAR POSTA in 1965 released a set of nine stamps on the theme of Arabian Nights. Back then, the Forint was the Hungarian currency - 1 Forint (Ft) = 100 Fillér (f). Fillér; it has since been phased out. The stamps were illustrated by two Hungarian women who maintained a consistent artistic style through the set.

The stamps  depicted the following stories:

- Sindbad's Second Voyage
- Prince Ahmad and the Fairy Peri-Banu

- The Enchanted Horse

- Harun Al-Rashid
- Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp
- Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves
- Sindbad's Fifth Voyage
- King Yunan and Douban the Physician
- Scharazad and Shahrvar
