POSTA VE TELEGRAF TESKILATI (PTT - TURKISH POST) on 10 December 1955 issued the "Antalya Turistik" series which had a circulation of 150,000. The number of series that were cancelled with the first day stamp was 25,367. The series of six stamps was printed at the Österreichische Staatsdruckerei (Austrian state printing house) using a Photogravure method.
The stamps depicted the waterfalls in Antalya Province, the city of Alanya and the shipyard, the amphitheatre in Aspendos, the ruins of the theatre in Side, a landscape in Antalya Province and the Church of Saint Nicholas in Demre.
