NIPPON POST on 1999 issued a First Day Cover stamp sheetlet, each 80 yen, showing the Kenrokuen Four Seasons in Ishikawa Prefecture. The fountain at Kenrokuen Garden, highlighted in the cachet, was constructed over 100 years ago. Designer was Kawamura Kaku (Oil Painter). Post offices in Hokuriku used a Photogravure printing method in 5 colours. First Day of issue originated from Kanazawa Central Post Office.
