POS Malaysia First Malaysia Development Plan

POS MALAYSIA on 1 December 1966 issued five commemorative postage stamps, each with a face value of 15 cents, to mark the First Malaysia Development Plan. They were rectangular measuring (Horizontal) 36 mm by (Vertical) 25 mm. All the five stamps were multi-coloured on unwatermarked paper. The Government Printing Bureau of Japan printed the stamps using a photogravure method. The artist was Enche Ng Peng Nam. The cachet featured Malaysia's first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman. The cancellation postmark for this First Day Cover originated from Kuala Lumpur.

The five stamps depicted the following themes:
- Agriculture

This particular FDC was posted to a Mr. and Mrs. H. Kers, Oban Rubber Estate P.O. Box 236, Calabar, Eastern Nigeria.
