ROMANIA POST in conjunction with The "Carol I" Central University Library partnered with the "Carol I" University Foundation organized the 5th edition of the Strada de C'Arte outdoor festival, which took place between 21 till 25 September 2016. Hence, this special First Day Cover and stamps were used to promote this annual cultural event.
Bucharest residents and visitors to the capital partook in cultural events, free of charge. Near the equestrian statue of Carol I, the largest open-air book fair was held, which brought together the most important publishing houses in Romania as well as several other institutions. Additionally, the festival included exhibitions, vernissages, book launches, debates and conferences, film screenings, concerts and performances in the Jazz and Poetry Rampa, artistic workshops, etc.
