POSTES CAMBODGE on 1 February 1966 issued a set of First Day Cover stamps showing five ancient Cambodian temples.The stamps were recess printed and designed/illustrated exclusively by notable French postal engravers. The postmark cancellation for this FDC originated from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The temples pictured in the set included:
- Preah Ko (3r) designed by Jean Pheulpin
- Baksei Chamkrong (5r) designed by Claude Hertenberger
- Banteay Srei (7r) designed by Jacques Gauthier
- Angkor Vat (9r) designed by Michel Monvoisin
- Bayon (12r) designed by Charles Mazelin
