Vietnam Post 50th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory

VIETNAM POST on 4 May 2004 released a set of First Day Cover stamps to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Two stamps and a block stamp was issued; shown here is one of the stamps affixed to a maxim card. The designer was Vu Kim Lien. An offset printing method was used on standard paper with glue on the back of stamp. Postage Stamp Printing Company (Ho Chi Minh City) printed this issue.
