GUERNSEY POST commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the War of 1812. Canada Post and Guernsey Post issued joint First Day Cover stamps of this event. British General Brock hailed from Guernsey, hence the commemorative stamp. And Tecumseh is in part responsible for the sovereignty of Canada as a result of this historical event.
