UN POSTAL ADMINISTRATION offered this set of First Day Cover (FDC) stamps marking the Johannesburg 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development. Artwork is by Peter Max. I've always admired his work, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have these stamps. He's designed other stamps over the years, but these are indicative of his portfolio. Additionally, the envelope is rather large compared to most FDCs.
