JAPAN POST in 1991 issued a series of First Day Cover stamps marking the 2nd Postage Stamp Design Contest sponsored by the Posts & Telecommunications Minister of Japan. The winners included "World Peace by Suto Eva of Romania and "Flower" by Mieko Kodama of Kyoto, Japan.
