ROYAL MAIL (UK) in 2020 released eight First Day Cover stamps featuring important sites and artefacts that illustrate the profound impact of the Roman occupation on British life and culture.
Each stamp subject was chosen in collaboration with the British Museum to reflect the sophistication, technical brilliance and artistry of Roman Britain. Two Second Class stamps, two First Class stamps, two £1.63 stamps and two £1.68 stamps.

The UK’s tallest standing Roman building. Second Class.
Bignor mosaic
Depicts Venus, Roman goddess of love. Second Class.
Amffitheatr yng Nghaer Isca, Caerllion Amphitheatre at Isca Fortress, Caerleon. First Class.
Ribchester helmet
Worn at displays of Roman horsemanship. First Class.
Bridgeness distance slab
Records the building of the Antonine Wall. £1.63.
