ÖSTERREICHISCHE POST in 1981 issued a First Day Cover stamp to mark the international stamp exhibition held in Vienna, the WIPA 1981. A memorial pad was published containing a stamp for 16 + 8 schillings. The stamp and maxi card shows Heldenplatz in Vienna, the Archduke Karl monument with the New Hofburg in the background.
