TRANSKEI POST (now South Africa) in 1985 issued a set of First Day Cover stamps depicting some of the bridges in the then Republic of Transkei. Featured on the maximum cards are bridges in Bizana (Mitchell Bridge), Port St. Johns (Umzimvubu Bridge), Cofimvaba (White Kei Bridge) and Qumbu (Tsitsa Bridge). Each stamp is affixed with a unique postmark.
