POS MALAYSIA in 2012 issued two mini sheetlets to illustrate the Second Series of Malaysian Currency. The monetary notes contain iconic images of the country: the wau (kite) (RM1), oil palm (RM50). leatherback turtle (RM20), hornbill (RM5), Mount Kinabalu (RM50) and Rafflesia (RM20). The image of Tuanku Abdul Rahman, the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia appreared on the first Malaysian currency issued in 1967. His image was retained in the Second Series of Malaysia Currency and he remains on the present Malaysian currency notes.
