DEUTSCHE POST in 1997 issued this 75th anniversary commemorative stamp of The Fichtel Mountains "Bergwacht" (Mountain Watch) which is one many natural granite formations found in this nature park. The Fichtel Mountains form a small horseshoe-shaped mountain range in northeastern Bavaria, Germany. Shown is a maxi card with FDC stamp.
